Ao Paraiso

Perhaps the name of this sushi bar is inspired by paintings of Diogo Muñoz that have adorned the walls of the space, which once housed Lisbon's Erotic Museum, or maybe it's the fact that the sushi served there aims to take customers "to paradise". With only eight seats at the counter, there is a clear preference for a traditional style of sushi with a hint of modernity: use quality ingredients, avoid food waste, and applaud innovation through two menus with the chef's exclusive creations.

Insider tip. Here, the tradition is reversed: instead of being a restaurant with a speakeasy bar, it's a bar that hides a restaurant.
